About our Internships and Volunteer Opportunities:
The objective of our internship program is to provide opportunities for students and other volunteers to participate in and contribute to the program work and daily operations of OBOS, while exposing them to current issues affecting women's health. Simultaneously, interns provide OBOS, a long-standing leader in the global women's health movement, with program work assistance, as well as new and vital perspectives on the women's health issues with which we are deeply involved. While we are unable to provide stipends, we invite interns to observe how a nontraditional, nonprofit organization operates and to experience how academic work can translate into useful global and community action.
