India: Anveshi

Project Update
In 1991, Anveshi published A Hundred Thousand Questions about Women's Health in Telegu. This book, inspired by Our Bodies, Ourselves, is still in print.
Soon after, to reach a wider audience, Anveshi translated the Telegu resource into English and, along with Penguin, published Taking Charge of Our Bodies: A Health Handbook for Women in 2004.
As the original Telugu edition had a regional flavor, the English version was revised as a pan-Indian edition for English speaking women. It is also in print. |
View the table of contents and read reviews of the English translation (cover alongside) in two leading Indian newspapers, The Telegraph and The Hindu.
