Support the 40th Anniversary Symposium

Over the past four decades, Our Bodies Ourselves Global Initiative has partnered with women around the world to produce and deliver health resources based on Our Bodies, Ourselves.  As a result of these partnerships, cultural adaptations of the book are available in more than 25 lanauges, including print, digital, and social interactive formats.  On Saturday, October 1, 2011 we'll be bringing some of the women behind the cultural adaptations to the United States as part of the 40th Anniversary celebration of Our Bodies, Ourselves.

The founders of Our Bodies Ourselves are launching an effort to raise funds to help offset the travel costs associated with this event (read their letter).  You can support these efforts.  With your help, our friends, colleagues and supporters will have an opportunity to learn from the experiences of our international partners, honor their courage and celebrate their successes. Moreover, recordings of this event will inspire women in additional countries to share knowledge and stories of empowerment about their bodies, their sexuality, their health – now and for the next 40 years.
